About the Role

JCA is growing and looking to add a Wire Harness Assemblers to join the team! As a Wire Harness Assembler, you will be responsible for accurately following measurement and instructions to assemble the wiring harnesses products used by manufacturers in a variety of industries. The successful candidates will read and interpret instructions and assemble parts together.

Responsibilities

• Operate wire harness processing equipment
• Assemble wire harness products through the use of assembly documentation, parts lists, hand tools and the knowledge gained through supplied training
• Inspect completed products to ensure they meet both internal and customer specifications
• Cutting, stripping, marking and terminating wires using hand and semi automated  equipment
• Manually routing of wires with the use of blueprints and written instructions
• Utilize braiding machines to coat wire harnesses
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Participate in team continuous improvement projects
• Ensure that safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints and drawings
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English. 
• Previous experience in manufacturing experience is an asset
• Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently. 

Physical Demands 

• Regularly required to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Exposed to changing noise levels and temperatures

Schedule Hiring for

• Monday through Friday (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
• Monday through Friday (3:30 PM to 12:00 AM)
• Sunday through Thursday (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
